Pictured is PS Waverley dwarfed by HMS Prince of Wales. Waverley is the last seagoing passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world which was built in 1946. The paddle steamer is doing various trips along the south coast this month. Dated Friday 02/09/22

HMS Prince of Wales is moored in The Solent near Gosport in Hampshire, with the Isle of Wight behind. It has been reported that the Royal Navy aircraft carrier may have to go into dry dock for repairs.
