HMS Queen Elizabeth retuned to her home port of Portsmouth, Hampshire today 10/12/18, Pictured passing Spice Island in Old Portsmouth, towering above the old houses and pubs, the area was once a favourite place for Press Gangs to find sailors for NelsonÕs Navy due to its seedy reputation, the terraced homes costing up to £1m now in the exclusive area.
The aircraft carrier with over 1000 crew members has been to the United States including New York and Florida as part of their four-month Westlant 18 deployment which has included flight trials of the F35-B fighter jets. Thousands of people including families of the ships crew welcomed them home, just in time for Christmas.
