HMS Prince of Wales left Portsmouth in Hampshire on Saturday afternoon 27/08/22 for America. Hundreds of people including family and friends of the crew waved off the Royal Navy aircraft carrier, with sailors lining the fight deck.

The ship will be training alongside American forces to continue F-35 trials and will also visit New York to host the Atlantic Future Forum towards the end of September.
