Lafrowda Day parade - Cornwall

Pictured is the Lafrowda Day parade in St Just, Cornwall - near Lands End, where local groups went through the town to the theme of "5.7 Degrees WestÓ, 5.7 degrees west is the line of longitude that runs from the North Pole to the South Pole passing through St Just on its way. This line touches many places on its way, with all their varying cultures, peoples, buildings, nature and much more. The annual festival of arts and music is held on the third Saturday in July and in its 22nd year with thousands of people filling the streets to watch and enjoy the entertainment during the day.
